Auckland Event Organisers & Executive Summit reschedules to 23 August

Russell Peacock EventOrganisers "We've already got a high level of interest from both corporate and industry event organisers, keen to get back to it"

The announcement by the New Zealand government of the reopening of the border to vaccinated Australians, means the Auckland Event Organisers and Executive PA Summit, due to originally take place in 2021, can now be confidently scheduled to take place on the 23rd August, say the event organisers.

Russell Peacock of Executive PA Media, owner of the event said. “This is fantastic news and it means that for the first time in over two years, we can schedule the Summit with a high degree of confidence”

“Due to the uncertainty of governments responses to COVID, We had to move this event twice before. The last time we were literally packing our laptops in preparation for our flights, when we received a text stating that New Zealand’s borders were about to close.”

Russell Peacock believes that Tasman business travel and events will pick up quickly. “Of course there will be a few who are going to take longer than others to rebuild their confidence & appetite for face to face experiences. But we’ve already got a high level of interest from both corporate and industry event organisers, keen to get back to it, not to mention Australian venues and destinations, looking to rebuild their New Zealand clients.

The Auckland Event Organisers & Executive PA Summit takes place on the 23rd of August at Hilton Auckland.
