Australian Regional Tourism annual convention open for early-bird registration

According to Tourism Research Australia, nearly half of the nation’s tourism expenditure (46% or $107 billion) occurs in regional Australia

Australian Regional Tourism Ltd (ART) has announced that early-bird registration for its annual convention is now open. The event takes place from 10th to the 12th October in Newcastle and its theme is ‘Creating the Regional Visitor Economy of the Future’.

The organisers state that the “Convention is a must-attend event for anyone who wishes to contribute to the future of regional tourism in Australia” and is ‘a great networking opportunity and forum to exchange ideas about ways to grow a sustainable regional destination and to showcase best practice success.”
