Samantha Gash is the first and youngest woman to complete four 250 kilometre marathons in one year across some of the world’s harshest environments. Samantha’s ambition and determination pushed her to complete what many consider the toughest endurance event on the planet—the ‘4 Deserts Grand Slam’—where contestants run four ultra-marathons across the driest (Chile), windiest (China), hottest (Sahara) and coldest deserts (Antarctica) on earth.
Samantha will bring her story to the Event Organisers Summit on 8 August in Sydney. She will outline her methodology in being able to push her body and mind through some of the most extreme environments.
She will share practical tips to show you how to develop motivation and create wins by following a passion, with a purpose. Samantha will also share her insights on planning, risk mitigation, leadership, team-building and personal resilience.
