EVOLVE returns ‘face to face’ after three year hiatus

MCB Chief Executive Officer Julia Swanson “Despite the restrictions on operations for the first half of 2021-2022, we delivered a buoyant outcome with the demand and recovery for business events in Melbourne occurring faster than expected"

Registrations are now open for Meetings & Events Australia’s (MEA) conference Evolve 2022, which will take place from the 29th to 30th June in Melbourne.

This will be the first face to face format for the conference, traditionally an annual event, in three years. In 2020 the organisers switched to a virtual format due to COVID, and in 2021 the decision was made to postpone to 2022, as a result of challenges created through ongoing lockdowns in Melbourne.

MEA CEO Peter McDonald said: “Evolve 2022 will refresh everyone’s minds about the value of our national community after a three-year hiatus of coming together face-to-face. The event will offer opportunities in parallel for professional development, business development, and reaffirmation or creation of relationships.

Evolve will be a one-day conference on the 30th June, with a welcome function the evening before and a networking event after completion of the education programme.

The theme of the conference will be ‘Building Confidence through Best Practice’.

Headlining the speaker list is Former Disney head of innovation Duncan Wardle and Holly Ransom will be the MC for the event.
