ICC Sydney COVID-19 Update

International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney)

Following the introduction of new restrictions for venue capacities by the New South Wales Government, International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) continues to hold an exemption to accommodate corporate events and exhibitions subject to one person per four square metres—without a maximum capacity.

In effect, ICC Sydney and any other New South Wales venue with the capability to work to the new restrictions, has clearance to host corporate events, which includes conferences, meetings, AGMs and awards and gala functions, in its Convention and Exhibition Centres.

In line with NSW Government regulations, patrons at conferences, banquets, exhibitions and live events are now required to wear a mask as a condition of entry.

Additional operating requirements of the NSW Public Health (COVID-19 Mandatory Face Coverings) Order 2021 as well as an update to the Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order (No 7) 2020 have been outlined in the updated ICC Sydney EventSafe Operating Guide which integrates parent group ASM Global’s Venue Shield program.
