MEA event goes virtual

The 'renovated' MEA Evolve conference will stream from Deakin Edge, Fed Square in Melbourne.

Meeting and Events Australia’s (MEA) conference is going digital this year, with the group announcing the annual event will be streaming live on Thursday 16 July.

The full-day conference, ‘Evolve: Renovated’ will use Events AIR’s OnAIR solution to cast an educational program, keynote speakers, Q&A’s and expert panels from Melbourne’s Deakin Edge venue.

The event will include networking opportunities and access to a new ‘wellness hub’—a virtual space with a series of mental and well-being opportunities, including nutrition, meditation and fitness sessions.

Robyn Johnson, MEA CEO said the virtual conference will help the industry connect and learn during this difficult time.

“MEA’s virtual conference provides the platform to learn and share and find new ways to renovate our business, our industry and ourselves,” Ms Johnson said.

“Until we can meet again in person, delivering Evolve in a virtual format is the best way for us to connect our industry.”
