The Melbourne Event Organisers Summit took place at the Novotel Preston on the 31st October.
The hotel, which has undergone a multi-million dollar refurbishment, has a onsite pool, gym, sauna and post recovery area. Not to mention 14 event areas, 400 rooms and parking for over 400. It offers spaces for an incredible range of events
Suppliers present at the Summit offered a range of solutions for delegates, including, venues, destinations, talent, aviation and teambuilding with a purpose from Summit partner Solar Buddy.
In addition to the benefits of social networking between a handpicked group of participants, suppliers were able to enjoy tailored meetings with key ‘relevant for business’ buyers who were looking for solutions that matched their services.
Speakers included event organiser Simon Thewlis, who recently appeared before two parliamentary inquiries into the Commonwealth Games debacle, Mindfulness expert Ray Good, who has been a big hit with delegates at every Summit he has presented at, talent expert Chad Davis, and teambuilding with Solar Buddy.
All participants enjoyed light breakfast, refreshments, lunch, after event networking drinks and their own personalised schedule for the day.
2024 Dates are set for the Event Organisers Summits and applications are now open
Brisbane 27th March, Sydney 15th August, Perth 10th September, Melbourne 31st October.
