Heritage Hotel Management has announced the appointment of Hayley Clark as conference coordinator for Heritage Hanmer Springs.
Hayley graduated with an advanced diploma in travel, tourism and business technology from the New Zealand School of Travel and Tourism in 1999, before working for various South Island travel booking companies, as well as for Travel 2 in London – progressing from a long-haul assistant to long-haul team leader.
Her local hotel and event experience includes roles as the manager’s assistant at Lake Hawea Holiday Park, and wedding and events coordinator for Edgewater Resort in Wanaka and later at Hurunui Hotel and Function Centre.
“My family love living in the Hurunui and it’s great to be promoting this unique property and the town for events, conferences and weddings,” says Hayley. “Heritage Hanmer Springs is a popular choice for special events and can be available for a ‘buy out’ exclusive event,” says Hayley.
The hotel can host as many as 180 guests in the ballroom that has views through French doors on to the picturesque terrace and gardens.
In summertime, wedding ceremonies can be held outdoors in the on-site wedding gazebo or under a marquee by arrangement.
Isobels restaurant offers delicious cuisine utilising local ingredients and renowned wine and has the bonus of a cosy open fire in winter.
On site is a summer swimming pool, tennis and petanque court. The hotel is adjacent to the award winning Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa, ideal for soothing away pre-wedding nerves or a relaxing wind down after a busy conference day.
