New Zealand International Convention Centre boosts sales team

NZICC is expected to contribute $90 Million of economic benefit for New Zealand

Ahead of completion in 2025, the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) has appointed two new members to their sales team.

NZICC Director of Sales & Marketing, Prue Daly says she is thrilled to see the team grow again, “I’m delighted to be building a talented team to partner and collaborate with our clients to ensure we are offering the best solutions for their conferences and events.”

Alana Bicknell re-joins the team as Sales Manager – International after spending the last 2 years at MBIE as a Programme Director. Alana has worked in the hospitality and business events field for over 15 years, with key roles at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa and Venues Wellington.

Alana will be responsible for generating and securing new international business event opportunities for Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and will work closely with NZICC’s key partners Tourism New Zealand and Auckland Convention Bureau.

Eloise Barnes Business Development & Research executive joins the NZICC from the Auckland Convention Bureau (ACB) where she was responsible for managing the funding of the Tātaki Auckland Unlimited Business Events Fund Programme.

Eloise will identify and work with leading New Zealand academic and industry talent to research and present international event bidding opportunities for NZICC and Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

Alana and Eloise join Prue Daly and Brooke Campbell, existing members of the NZICC Sales Team.
