IMEX America runs from October 7 to 9 at Mandalay Bay Las Vegas and will have an anticipated 3500 exhibitors and more than 7000 buyers.
Demand from global buyers is reportedly tracking an increase in attendance of more than 25 per cent compared to 2024.
One week out from the event the number of association hosted buyers registered has exceeded the total registered for the previous edition, with strong representation across healthcare, education and trade association sectors.
Some of the major global brads represented by registered planners include AMEX, Estee Lauder, IBM, Nike and SAP.
IMEX head of hosted buyer relationship management, Liz Brand, said there was a real buzz building around this year’s show which has come as a surprise considering the wider economic picture.
“Our newly enhanced customer service support means we’ve been able to begin conversations with buyers earlier to build their IMEX experience,” she said.
“Essentially it’s about helping them make the most of their time at IMEX America and connect to the people, products and partnerships that really hit the mark for their business needs.”
Exhibitors across Europe, Asia and Africa are among those expanding their footprint at this year’s show, while hotel groups including Hilton, Raddison and Millennium are also increasing their presence.
