Feedback from both buyers and suppliers who have attended Executive PA Media networking events since COVID restrictions started to lift in March 2022, indicate that corporates are keen to get back to events and are cramming in activity up to the end of the financial year and beyond – corporate business events recovery is well underway.
The Executive PA & Event Organisers Summits are a series of one day, appointment-based networking events between corporate & industry buyers, and business events suppliers. All the buyers from the Brisbane event, which took part on 31st March at the Tivoli, and Melbourne, which took place on the 26th April at the Melbourne Showgrounds, indicate that they all are likely to be working with the suppliers they met.
Response from executive assistants who attended the Novotel Sydney Central Executive PA Media networking evening on the the 5th May, showed that they are happy to be out and networking again.
Anna Magill, executive assistant at the AUB group said “The chef & his team were amazing – the highlight of the evening – impressive. Great idea with the wine tasting as well.” Jane De Souza executive assistant to the CEO at Tabcorp Holdings said “Thanks for a wonderful event and showcasing your property. Staff were welcoming and the food delicious.”
Comments also Indicate that corporate business events activity is strong
“Please do pass on my details to the hotel as there is opportunity for [the buyer’s organisation] to host in there or any of their hotels in their portfolio in the upcoming months.”
“The night was fabulous, really enjoyed the networking, the food/wine was sensational as was the entertainment and would recommend holding an event on Level 1 with the balcony.”
“After the renovation of the hotel, the place looks refreshing. We may consider holding future events at Novotel Sydney Central.”
All the suppliers who responded to the feedback surveys stated that they were likely to do business with the buyers.
Harry Upton of the Tivoli said “it was great, one on one interactions are much stronger than casual connections at a trade show.” Maureen Brennan of Business Events Sunshine Coast said “A quality event with the right mix of planners, networking opportunities and guest speakers.
