Accor has appointed Jeremy Samuels as the new General Manager of Sofitel Adelaide, effective January 2026. Samuels brings nearly 14 years of experience with the global hospitality group to the role, including extensive leadership across luxury and upscale properties in Australia and New Zealand.
Samuels steps into the role following a successful tenure as General Manager at Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa, where he was credited with delivering strong performance, team development and guest-experience excellence in one of New Zealand’s most competitive luxury hotel markets. His move to Adelaide marks a return to South Australia, where he is tasked with reinforcing Sofitel Adelaide’s reputation for refined service, French-inspired elegance and world-class hospitality at the heart of the city’s CBD.
