Dubai soon home to world’s tallest hotel

Come October, Dubai will be able to lay claim to having the world’s tallest hotel tower

Towering 345 metres and 82 floors above Dubai Marina, Ciel is designed by NORR and constructed by The First Group. It is being described as a bold statement that showcases cutting-edge design and world-class engineering.

The skyscraper’s curved metal and glass façade, sculpted to address the challenges of vertical living, will give the building an unmistakable presence as the centrepiece of Dubai Marina’s skyline.

Step inside, and you’ll find one of Ciel’s most remarkable design elements – a 300-metre-tall atrium with vertically stacked landscaped terraces, transforming the traditional concept of hotel communal spaces. Natural light floods the hotel’s interactive sky lounges, creating a sense of openness that is rare in high-rise structures.

Ciel will feature 1004 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, two signature restaurants, a private club lounge, a world-class fitness centre, and a spa. The hotel’s unique rooftop infinity pool and observation deck – also set to be the tallest in Dubai – will provide guests with panoramic views of Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf.

As a member of the Vignette Collection, IHG’s luxury and lifestyle brand launched in 2021, Ciel is expected to garner great international interest.

As The First Group’s flagship development, Ciel will stand as a bold testament to the fast-growing developer’s visionary ambitions.

Its status as the world’s tallest hotel also reinforces Dubai’s quest to be the most exciting leisure and business destination on the planet, and will certainly be on the radar of the incentive travel reward community on opening.

The First Group also has under construction The First Collection Dubai Studio City, a 370-room property located at Dubai Studio City.

Property highlights include a state-of-the-art fitness centre, two outdoor pools, a spa, two signature dining outlets, a business centre and meeting rooms.

It is due to open in early 2028.
