FACTS (The Festival of Aviation & Corporate Travel Summit) has announced a strategic partnership with PCMA to expand the education programme at its November event, bringing international business events expertise to ICC Sydney.
Under the agreement, PCMA will curate a session within the FACTS Business Events Summit, featuring business event strategists and event marketing specialists drawn from its Asia Pacific community.
Titled ‘Beyond the Event: Turning Moments into Momentum’, the panel will take place at 11.30am on Thursday 26 November, the second day of FACTS. It will explore how event professionals can turn individual experiences into lasting results, with practical insights for those planning and delivering business events.
Following the session, PCMA will hold its PCMA LABS – SYDNEY luncheon and workshop at ICC Sydney. The interactive discussion, ‘Measuring Impact: Beyond Attendance to Real World Outcomes’, will use regional case studies and contributions from industry creatives, strategists and event marketers to examine how event success is assessed.
PCMA managing director, APAC, Florence Chua said the partnership would create opportunities to share knowledge across the business events and corporate travel sectors.
“Education and meaningful industry connection are central to PCMA,” she said.
Chua said the collaboration would bring perspectives from PCMA’s global community to Sydney while giving professionals further opportunities to learn, connect and exchange ideas.
FACTS co-founder Derek Sadubin said PCMA’s involvement would strengthen the range of expertise available through the Business Events Summit.
He said the programme aims to provide useful ideas for people who plan, procure and deliver meetings and events, with PCMA’s contribution broadening the discussion beyond corporate travel.
The partnership also supports FACTS’ ambition to bring related industries together. Sadubin said travel, meetings and events increasingly operate within a shared business environment, although their professional communities can remain separate.
He said FACTS would provide a place for those groups to exchange knowledge and meet organisations shaping their future, with both partners looking to develop the relationship beyond the first collaboration.
PCMA provides education, networking and market intelligence for business events professionals, with members in 72 countries and communities.
The Festival of Aviation & Corporate Travel Summits, known as FACTS, takes place at ICC Sydney on 25–26 November 2026. It brings together corporate travel, aviation, business events, travel payments and technology professionals, with four specialised summits alongside networking and commercial opportunities.
