The Hannah St Hotel has officially launched in Melbourne, bringing 188 boutique rooms and suites to a triangular site beneath the Kings Way overpass in the heart of Southbank. Developed as part of the broader Queensbridge urban project, the property has been designed by Flack Studio, with interiors that reflect Melbourne’s creative energy and layered architectural character.
Hannah St operates as a hybrid boutique hotel and social hub. It has a design-led approach, which aims to attract both cultural travellers and corporate guests seeking something distinctive in the CBD fringe.
Facilities include a heated 20‑metre indoor pool, steam room, sauna and gym, alongside flexible co‑working areas and dedicated meeting rooms. A podcast recording room and adaptable event spaces respond to the needs of modern business visitors requiring versatile environments for presentations, content creation and small-group gatherings.
Food and beverage is in collaboration with The Mulberry Group. Highlights include Coupette Corner Bistro & Bar for all‑day dining, Bar Hannah for networking drinks and The Terrace Lounge rooftop space offering skyline views suitable for private events and receptions.
The hotel’s proximity to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and the Arts Precinct offers a new option for delegate accommodation, small meetings and boutique corporate events in Melbourne’s CBD.
