How do you get 220 franchise managers to feel your company values and not just hear them?
At its most recent Annual Franchise Conference, Laser Clinics Australia wanted to do more than reinforce vision, mission and values with words. It needed a session that would:
- Bring its theme – “The Science of Feeling” – to life through real, visceral experiences
- Build franchisee connection and brand pride in an unforgettable way
- Capture the imagination of its team, turning insight into action
- Wrap up the conference with emotion, unity and a standing ovation
Bringing in Rock ‘N Roll Team Building to the QT Hotel Gold Coast venue, the solution was a `Jingle & Jam’ session.
Led by powerhouse performer and host Anthony Snape, this 90-minute musical journey transformed a traditional team-building slot into a high-octane, laughter-filled songwriting and performance event.
Fifteen Laser Clinics Australia regional managers kicked off the session with a full-band performance of Fame, setting the tone and turning heads before the first word of welcome was even spoken.
Anthony’s welcome then emphasised the power of music: “Music connects us. It’s how we feel seen, heard, and part of something bigger,” he said.
From there, four delegate volunteers strutted their stuff – complete with costumes – in front of their peers, turning the ballroom into a high-octane rock concert.
Anthony then brought the entire group together as one in under 10 minutes with the all-new Laser Clinics Australia Choir.
Delegates were then broken into 12 teams and assigned a `Science of Feeling’ word like Bold, Glowy, Electric and Cheeky.
With butchers’ paper, band support, and guidance from Anthony, they crafted
four-line rhyming jingles inspired by their team value and Laser Clinics’ brand promise
One by one, nominated singers from each team stepped into the spotlight and performed their team’s jingle live – with full band backing. Lyrics on screen, crowd cheering, a true rock concert vibe.
Team names included: Wild, Wow, Magic, Fierce, Dreamy, Good – every word a feeling, every song a declaration and strengthening the company’s brand values.
The performances saw 220 people on their feet, standing ovations for team members, tears, hugs, high fives and proud smiles, and a very real connection to Laser Clinics’ purpose, values, and each other.
Laser Clinics Australia communications and event manager, Holy Boal, described the energy in the room as “through the roof”.
“All of our team got right into it… I absolutely recommend Rock ‘n Roll Team Building for your next event.”
Rock `n Roll Team Building sales and marketing director, Nicole White, said the experience wasn’t about passive participation.
“From the moment the doors opened, every person was into it – singing, laughing, celebrating their culture through music,” she said.

“The room felt safe, electric, joyful, and united. Production by 35 Degrees North made every beat, every lyric, and every spotlight count.
“This wasn’t just another conference moment. It was a story Laser Clinics franchisees will be telling for years.”
The night prior to the `Jingle & Jam’, Rock ‘n Roll Team Building’s band, fronted by Anthony Snape and soul sensation Paula Baxter, delivered a blistering live set at the Laser Clinics Gala Awards Dinner – building momentum and anticipation for what came next.
