Lounge around Sydney’s seaplanes

Sydney Seaplanes Lounge at Rose Bay in Sydney.

The Empire Lounge on the harbour waterfront at Rose Bay will relaunch as Sydney Seaplanes Lounge.

Built over the glistening waters of Rose Bay, the venue is ideal for signature functions and dinners, product launches, dazzling celebrations, weddings and unforgettable events.

With a capacity of 160 guests, the venue is available for sole hire for daytime and evening functions and events.

In addition, the venue offers a unique boardroom set in the seaplane museum. The multifunctional room can be set up with a 12-seater boardroom table, surrounded by the history of the flying boats and fully catered for by the restaurant team.

With the venue’s relaunch comes a distinguished new Head Chef, Natali Mikailoğlu, whose culinary journey is as dynamic as the venue itself. Under her leadership, Sydney Seaplanes Lounge will focus on fresh, seasonal produce with a particular focus on locally sourced seafood. All of this while taking in the magnificent views from the extensive decks and through floor-to-ceiling windows.

A unique feature of the venue is the opportunity to combine scenic flights with an event.

Sydney Seaplanes has its headquarters at the wharf, which allows function and event organisers to add a touch of glamour with Sydney Harbour scenic flights, taking off and landing at the Rose Bay wharf.

For weddings, celebrations of key individuals and other special occasions, the guests of honour can literally sail/fly off into the sunset with a Sydney Seaplanes harbour scenic flight.
