Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands is setting up to unveil new state-of-the-art conference and meeting facilities in the harbour suburb. The hotel, which opens in mid-June, is the first five-star property in the precinct and will deliver a premium venue with flexible spaces designed to cater for a range of events. Business and social functions will be made easy through personalised planning and versatile floor plans designed to spark new ways of thinking, fuelling curiosity and inspiring brilliance. Meeting facilities at Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands include five unique venues offering 375sqm of total event space.
Boasting floor to ceiling windows, ensuring daytime events are bathed in natural light, the contemporary design is fitted with the latest audio visual and technology services. The versatile Promenade Room has a total area of 245sqm opening out to an alfresco terrace of 30sqm. The Promenade Room can host up to 200 guests seated theatre style or for a cocktail reception, or 120 guests seated at round tables for a dinner style event. The Promenade Room can be used in its entirety for large events or divided into smaller spaces to suit specific requirements: Promenade I is 90sqm; Promenade II is 70sqm; Promenade III is 55sqm. Other meeting spaces include The Observatory, a 55sqm room ideal for boardroom meetings or smaller social events. The Observatory can host 45 guests in a cocktail style, or 15 seated at a large boardroom table. Similarly, on the opposite east-facing side of the building, The Dock room can host 35 for a cocktail style event or 12 seated at a boardroom table.
