Radisson makes debut in Hangzhou, China

Radisson Hotel Group has launched the first Radisson hotel in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province, China.

The Group announced the opening of Radisson Hangzhou Qianjiang, strategically located in the new city center of Qianjiang Century City.

The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Hangzhou’s Xiaoshan International Airport, a transportation hub that is now served by almost 50 airlines and offers direct connections to cities including Amsterdam, Bangkok, Doha, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

Overlooking the Qiantang River, the hotel is three minutes’ walk from Yinfeng Road station on the Hangzhou Metro and the local shopping district.

The 186 guest rooms and suites range from 34-square-meter Superior Rooms to the 106-square-meter Executive Suite.

The hotel’s food and drink options include the Shang Café; Radisson Hangzhou Qianjiang’s all-day restaurant, Sky Pavilion; a specialty Chinese restaurant with private dining rooms, and Lobby Lounge; a chic lounge with drinks and snacks, including barista-prepared coffee and Chinese teas.

Radisson Hangzhou Qianjiang will also feature a choice of function spaces for all types of events. The Grand Ballroom can host up to 740 guests for large-scale conferences, while the divisible Qianjiang Room is designed for seminars with up to 120 delegates. Smaller meetings rooms and VIP rooms are also available.
