Strong buyer uptake for first 2026 Executive PA Summits signals keen appetite to meet suppliers

Following a successful Brisbane event, buyer places are now full for the Sydney Executive PA Summit, which takes place on the 21st May.

The strong up-take by buyers echoes research (starts page 25) undertaken by Executive PA Media at the beginning of the year, which suggests that event activity and budgets are almost back to pre-Covid levels, and that time-poor EAs & event organisers are being given even shorter lead times for their events.

In the 2019 Executive PA Corporate Event Organiser Survey, less EAs were being given shorter lead times for events for under 100 than the year prior. Sixty percent stated they had been given lead times of less than three months. The percentage has increased to 66% in the 2026 survey. For events over 100 the trend is similar. Just 19% of the 2019 respondents were given three months or less put their together. The 2026 survey shows that the figure has increased to a significant 27%.

Russell Peacock of Executive PA Media, organisers of the Summits believes short lead times for events are resulting in the higher than usual competition for buyer places.

“Buyer up-take is always good, but this year EAs and event organisers have latched on to the benefit of using the summits as an efficient way to meet with potential suppliers and to network’ he said

“The time efficiency aspect is something that every buyer I’ve spoken with this year has spoken about. Late notice for events is driving demand to meet suppliers.”

The venue for the Sydney Executive PA Summit is Paradox Sydney, which is a luxury hotel in a restored 1856 heritage sandstone building in Sydney’s CBD.

The Melbourne Executive PA Summit follows on the 23rd July
