The Tourism Authority of Thailand and Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau `Thailand Power Up’ campaign offers a range of support to incentive travel planners from now until July 2026.
The initiative is expected to attract 65,000 travellers, generating approximately AUD$200 million.
The announcement was made following a press conference on news Thailand will be hosting more than 10,000 delegates for the Chinese Amway Leadership Seminar in March and April 2026.
TAT Governor, Thapanee Kiatphaibool, and President of TCEB, Dr Supawan Teerarat, said the campaign’s vision was to attract premium meeting and incentive groups from around the world.
Dr Supawan Teerarat said collaboration with TAT was a key to the strategy.
“This powerful partnership not only supports events but also shapes a sustainable and globally competitive MICE ecosystem for Thailand, backed by world-class infrastructure and services, while fostering business and investment connections and opportunities and boosting the national economy,” he said.
Financial support can be given to groups of more than 100 who are anticipating a minimum four night stay in Thailand.
Non-financial assistance includes souvenirs from local communities, MICE Premium Lane Service at airports, coordination with government agencies, Thai cultural performances, and hospitality services.
Further demonstrating the partnership between TCEB and TAT will be a co-hosted event called inVOYAGE Global 2026, running from April 17 to 20, 2026, at The Peninsula Bangkok. The event will bring together between 200 and 300 senior MICE professionals, with 80 per cent from the UK, EU and North America, and 20 per cent from APAC, the Middle East, and Latin America.
The program will include one-on-one meetings, educational sessions, immersive local experiences, and networking activities.
