Sheraton on the Park will elevate its events space with a $3m refresh of its dedicated meetings and events floor to ensure the hotel remains the place to be seen. An ideal place to meet, connect and celebrate, the CBD hotel boasts 17 versatile and contemporary designed event spaces perfect for small, intimate or large occasions.
The upgrade of the Grand Ballroom, Hyde Park Room, Phillip Room and pre-function area on the second floor has begun and follows the recently completed $45million refurbishment of the hotel’s 558 guest rooms and executive club lounge.
The design team has created impact where it matters but remained sensitive to the building’s heritage. The new-look will feature a bold and sophisticated colour palette of smoky greys and taupes, dark timbers and touches of brass to elevate the grandeur of the spaces.
Giving the function rooms their own identity, the new spaces will sit comfortably alongside the hotel’s existing areas and recent refurbishment works with design elements connecting to details in the lobby atrium.
